La Purificadora, an industrial building, dating from 1884, formerly used as a water and ice production factory, was spectacularly transformed by the renowned Mexican Architect Ricardo Legorreta. Today it is the most avant-garde hotel in Puebla.
Located in the oldest square of the Historical Center, right next to the Church of San Francisco and behind the Convention Center. La Purificadora has the best terrace in town to enjoy beautiful sights of the Puebla cathedral domes and historical architecture. La Purificadora Restaurant with its impressive volcanic quarry floor is renowned for its contemporary authentic Mexican cuisine.
